General Information:

David joined the staff team in 2021 after graduating from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Physical Education. He and his wife Ashley were married in May of 2021.

Testimony:

I grew up going to church every Sunday with my family. I went to Bible studies, went to youth group, and listened to my parents (for the most part haha). By the time it got to my senior year in High School, however, my whole idea on what it meant to be a Christian was to be a good enough person. That is when Joe came in. He met me as my new coach. He befriended me and was around me often. He said he was a Christian and I said I was a Christian, but our lives looked radically different. Joe loved to read his Bible, loved to talk about Jesus and the gospel with other people, and loved going to church. He went out of his way to do those things. I only did them if they were convenient to me (almost never). He shared the gospel with me and explained that Christ really did die for me and all of my sin. Jesus did take the punishment I deserved and was perfect in my place. I was forgiven. I was approved of by God. That was so real and so sweet. He communicated these to me over and over again and next thing you know, my life radically changed. I started reading my Bible and sharing the gospel with my friends. I started to accumulate a vision for my life with Christ at the center. I was a new man with a changed heart through the gospel. Thanks be to God. I went on staff because I really do want to make disciples and to fill the church, that Christ died for, up with established and hungry believers. I want to see multiplication happen in the church and on the college campus.
